Meet Drupi!
Drupi is a12-month-old, 40-pound bundle of energy who’s always ready for adventure! He loves to run, play, and after a full day of fun, he’s happiest snuggling up for some quiet cuddle time.
This sweet boy is house trained and crate trained, and while he’s doing great with his manners, he’ll need continued training as all puppies do. Drupi gets along wonderfully with dogs, but his comfort with cats is still unknown. Since he is just a puppy only respectful children, who are comfortable with energetic dogs
Because of his high energy, Drupi needs a home with a fully fenced yard where he can safely burn off steam—no condos or apartments for this athlete! He can be a bit timid around new people at first, but once he feels safe and bonds with you, his loving and playful personality shines through.

Drupi would thrive with someone who enjoys the outdoors—maybe a jogger, hiker, or anyone who loves an active lifestyle. If you’re looking for a loyal adventure buddy with plenty oflove to give, Drupi is your guy

FAQ

What is the process to adopt?

First, you’ll fill out an adoption application so we can get to know you, your family, and what you’re looking for in a dog. If it looks like a good fit, we’ll arrange a meet-and-greet. From there, if everyone feels it’s the right match, we’ll move ahead with an adoption agreement and fee. We’re here to support you through the whole process.

How much does it cost to adopt?

Our adoption fees usually range from $450 to 600, depending on the dog’s age and needs. This helps cover things like vaccinations, spay/neuter, vet care, rehabilitation, and travel costs to Canada.

What if the dog I adopt doesn’t work out?

We always want our dogs and adopters to be happy together. If you’re unsure, fostering first can be a great way to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. We truly believe dogs are family for life, but if something serious comes up, we will always take our dogs back into the rescue.

Why do you bring dogs from Playa del Carmen, Mexico? Aren’t there enough homeless dogs in Canada?

Although we do rescue dogs in Canada, we also partner with our sister rescue, SOS El Arca, in Playa del Carmen, where the need is heartbreaking.
Dogs there often live on the streets, without food, shelter, or medical care, and many suffer from abuse or neglect.
In Canada, most shelter dogs at least have safety, food, and a roof over their heads. By working together, we’re able to give these dogs a chance at life while also helping locally when we can.

Other ways to help?

Adoption isn’t the only way to change a dog’s life. You can help by:

-Fostering a dog and giving them a safe place to land.
-Donating to help cover medical care, food, and transport.
-Sponsoring a dog in need if you can’t foster or adopt.
- Offering transportation to and from their locations.
-Volunteering your time and skills, from event support to home checks.
-Sharing our posts and stories on social media to help dogs find their forever homes.

Every little bit makes a huge difference, and we’re so grateful for our amazing community of supporters. ❤️
